What is the Joy Squad:

The Moms for Mental Health Joy Squad is a group of trained individuals who are available to chat by phone, text, or email. Contact us any time you need a friend, a listening ear, or someone to offer a little love and support through a difficult time. While we DO NOT offer therapy or crisis intervention services, we do offer a kind and compassionate presence when you just don’t want to face life’s difficulties alone.

How can you help?

Share the Moms For Mental Health group with anyone you think might benefit. Be sure to let them know that we have a Joy Squad with members available to help support people in times of struggle. If you would like to be part of the Joy Squad reach out and let us know. Online and in person training are required.

What are the training requirements?

To be a member of the Joy Squad interested individuals must be part of MMH. They must first take an online crisis training course to ensure that they are aware of signs to watch out for when talking with individuals who use our services. Once the online course is completed they can be added to the Joy Squad. Once on the Joy Squad all members will be required to attend and in person training.
